Buff/unnerf Sandstorm
Can the skill Sandstorm [skill]sandstorm[/skill] get a slight damage buff or un-nerf please? It would be nice to have this skill as an useful AoEDoT on the Earth Magic line as alternative to the massive damage of the Fire Magic line. This would help to bring Earth Magic back to use in Aspenwood, Jade Quarry and Alliance Battles.

Thats not true. Just go watch a few observer matches, earth eles are being used a lot in HA.
A slight buff would be good though, /signed

You know what's the alternative to the massive damage that Fire brings?
The insane defense that Earth brings.

Earth magic = Defensive
Fire magic = AoE Damage
Air magic = spike damage
It's fine the way it is.

i'd make it half the duration with double damage
at 12 earth magic= 26+26x10= 520
my suggestion at 12 earth magic: 52+52x5= 520
fast and devestating damage

As it is now it's nothing compared to Unsteady Ground.
Could also be reworked in some way i guess.
somthing like 20recharge,10 duration 10..40 damage and causes blind for 1..7 secs.
Either way,it needs to be changed to be a usable elite.

For PvE, Who gives a rat's a$$?
Once again, Charr ain't gonna cry when they got pwned by a 1000 damage SandStorm.
For PvP (Semi-PvP: AB), NO.
Instead of buffing Earth Magic to a lolwtf level, let's nerf Fire AoE in general to an acceptable level.
Sardelac Style:
/Signed for PvE-only
/Not Signed for PvP - Instead of buffing à la NF-style, let's nerf back to Proph only proportions...

If Earth = Defensive then just make the skill add weakness to those that receive more than one hit of the storm.

Sorry but I like how eles are set up at the moment. They may be the msot balanced class out at the moment lol.
Air is mostly single target dps with blind
Fire is mostly AoE dps with burning, basically pure damage
Earth is the defensive with some snare/weakness line, lets keep it this way
Water can do damage and snare.
Besides, unless you are super awsome at body blocking/snaring in pvp or dont do HM pve, then AoEDoT spells kinda suck....

PvE wise, one of my main eles (Vekk) runs a defensive Unsteady Ground build. I've never had use for Sandstorm in PvE because I find an Unsteady Ground/Churning Earth combo is much more effective. Toss a ward into a build with those two skills and Earth Attunement and you're ready to roll.
